The cake is simply adorable, as is your lil baby!!, I am going to make this same cake for a lil niece who just loves the mod monkey, but im just a hobby baker without too much experience. Could u please give me a lil advice as to how to make the Monkey face?? Thanks!
I printed out a pic of the mod monkey face, then cut it out. I rolled out my fondant and traced around the picture with an Xacto knife. Then I cut out the monkey's face & ears and traced them on lighter brown fondant. I "glued" them lighter on the darker with sugar water.
Adorable cake...I am a hobby baker and was wondering if you would share the cake sizes? I just recently found your site through a friend. Wonderful site. Thanks for sharing!
This is a beautiful cake! I love the font that you used for the name. Did you use cookie cutters or freehand them? If you used cookie cutters where did you get them?
What a beautiful cake!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie!
